Greeen Basket (greeenbasket.com) is run by Sonkar Fresh Foods Private Limited. We deliver fresh fruits and vegetables across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address.
• Delivery details: address, pincode and delivery instructions.
• Order details: items, amounts, delivery slots, invoices and messages with our support team.
• Payment status: payments are processed by our payment gateway. We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or net banking details.
• Technical data: device, browser, pages visited and cookies that keep your basket and pincode working.

Why we use it

• To take, deliver and invoice your orders and to arrange replacements.
• To contact you about your order on phone, WhatsApp or email.
• To run subscriptions and wholesale accounts you ask for.
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and meet tax, accounting and food-safety laws.
• To improve the site. We only send offers if you agree, and you can stop at any time.

Who we share it with

Only with people who help us serve you: our delivery partners (name, phone, address, order), our payment gateway, our website host and email provider, and our accountants. We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with authorities when the law requires.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to fulfil your orders, resolve complaints and meet legal record-keeping duties, such as tax invoices. After that we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent. Write to the grievance officer below and we will reply within the time the law allows.

We use cookies that keep your basket, pincode and sign-in working, and, where you agree, cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but the basket may stop working.

Security and children

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who can see order data. The site is meant for adults. If you think a child gave us information, tell us and we will remove it.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
